Stanislavsky Electrotheatre trailer

The Stanislavsky Electrotheatre, taking over from the former Stanislavsky Drama Theatre, opened January 26, 2015, and immediately became one of the leading playhouses in Moscow. Artistic Director Boris Yukhananov stated that he wanted to open up his theatre to all kinds of styles, genres and approaches, and he backed up his word by hosting major premieres by Greek director Theodoros Terzopoulos, German director Heiner Goebbels and Italian director Romeo Castellucci. This trailer highlights those productions, as well as three by Yukhananov himself - the "Drillalians" opera series, "The Constant Principle" based on Calderon and Pushkin, and "The Blue Bird," after Maeterlinck.
